Admission
Requirements for Full Degree Students
Admission to the degree requires that applicants hold a bachelor's degree within biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, medicine or have equivalent professional qualifications from a university or institute of higher education with university status.
Applications Should Include:
- Application Form
- Documentation for completed bachelor's degree (original/certified copy)
- A letter of motivation
- CV / Resumé
- Transcipts from your university documenting your grades and the courses you have completed
- Course plans/course descriptions detailing the content of the courses
- TOEFL/IELTS test providing proof of English-language ability, if English is not your first language (Note: Danish citizens do not need to submit a language test).
- Proof of financial support, if not an EU/EEA student.
Note the application procedure is the same for all students, excluding language scores and proof of financial support, which international students may need to provide (see above). International students who do not speak English as a first language should submit the TOEFL test with a minimum score of 600 or the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score of 7.0.
As well as academic qualifications, students are evaluated on the basis of their course record e.g. the relevance of subjects studied, experience of experimental work, participation in study abroad programmes/other international experience. Students with diverse backgrounds are favoured.
Previous applicants to the programme have included medical, odontology, biology, biochemistry, sports science, pharmacology, bromatology, chemistry, hortonomy, biophysics and veterinary students.
